What makes me proud about my country

Hello!
My name is Anass Sammou, I’m 15 years old and I’m a student in GS Le Détroit. I'm from Casablanca but i live in Tangier since 2006. I have a lot of hobbies, I love to play football and basketball, i like reading books like Harry Potter- the Lord of the rings... I have a special dream that one day i will be a professional football player and i will play with my national team "Morocco". My goals in life are to have a long-term loving relationship, to become a web designer and developer, to have a big family... Today I’ll talk about what makes me proud about my beautiful country "Morocco".

All the Moroccan people inside or outside Morocco love their country, I can't explain that feeling because it's the only thing that makes us Moroccans; if there is a war in morocco, the "real Moroccan people" will fight to death and will never surrender that's the first thing that makes me really proud and makes me even cry of joy. The second thing is we are different from other countries because we are the only people who really love their king "Mohamed VI" because they are well aware that the king has played a vital role in laying the groundwork for what is now a modern nation prepared for the future. And finally, the most important thing that every Moroccan person is proud about is the "Green march" in November 1975 because the fact that every Moroccan person were very proud and they collaborate when "Hassan II" announced the organization of a large peaceful demonstration enabled Morocco to extend its control over the entire territory of Western Sahara, considering it as the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

You didn't know morocco was like that, but among this beautiful things there is one thing that i want to change and it's the fact that in Morocco if you don't study you don't have a future; that's a terrible thing because i think that we aren't dreamers, we are realists so for our parents to do something else that studying, it's humiliating for them so we always have to be realistic. That's a wrong way to prepare our future because without dreams, we can't live so it's normal that some people in Morocco don't have jobs. We must change Our way of thinking !

  1. Hello Anass, It has been very nice to learn about you and your ideas for and about your country. It's cool that you have an interest in both sports and web designing. Most athletes I know don't really like computers, so good on you for fighting the stereotype! I also like computers and technology, but let's focus on you, not me. I also like that you are passionate about your country and your people. Your ideas for how you think Tangier needs to change are thought provoking and would make a good persuasive essay. Overall, good job. If you'd like to check out my blog go to "commanderander.blogspot.com".
